The Internet hinders human interactions because of the way it onsumes people's time, alters their behavior and influences their educational research. The reason I barely made it on time to karate class sometimes was mainly because of the Internet; either I would be playing an online computer game or I would be stuck in a web-chat conversation. My experiences prove that the Internet can be very time-consuming because of the variety of things people can do. Instead of spending time with friends, people can Just Facebook chat with them. Also people don't have to meet up face to face; they can Just web-chat.
With all this time being spent on the Internet, it is stopping people from having normal relationships with their friends and family. Because the Internet tends to take up so much time, It starts to affect the behaviors of people mentally by making them antl-soclal. Their behaviors tend to change because they start to lose their social skills. For example, some people may use the Internet by picking on others, which Is called cyber bullying. This behavior happens because people feel that It Is easier and more humiliating If they bully someone over the Internet.
The Internet makes people feel more comfortable with bullying because It's anonymous and they don't see the pain that they cause. Furthermore, It can make people suffer from discomfort because of Its ablllty to feed their paranoia. People's behavior can change for the worse or better because of their desire to find more Information. The Internet can teach someone how to do Just about anything.
For example, people are starting to take online classes, and when they are stuck on how to do anything; they go to websites Ilke Yahoo or Youtube.Online lasses stop people from learning what they have to know from a college professor and from their peers In a class environment. Yahoo and Youtube prevent people from asking others how to do something and working with them. While the Internet does take up people's time, change their behavior and Influence their educational research In negative ways, It could have a posltlve effect If people learn how to manage their time, If they treat someone online as they would In reality, and If they would start learning from others.People can do all of these things, and hey can have better Interactions with others.
